Andy Timmons
"The Spoken And The Unspoken"
|
"The Spoken And The Unspoken" is the mostly instrumental 1999 release from Texas guitar slinger Andy Timmons. Featuring a total of eight instrumental numbers, the CD offers uptempo, loop-driven, rocked-out instrumentals ("All Is Forgiven"), Lennon-influenced vocal tunes ("Nowhere"), the Jeff Beck influence ("Astral Fishing"), Spanish sounding nylon string guitar instrumentals ("Duende") and a super live track recorded in Tokyo, Japan ("Cry For You"). The expected Timmons guitar forays are all over this recording, so if you're a fan of his earlier CDs, you'll love "The Spoken And The Unspoken". If you're not a fan of his earlier CDs (Ear-X-Tacy, Ear-X-Tacy II, Pawn Kings) -- you need to be!
