From the liner notes - Many of the Shadows' EP releases featured their well-known hits, which have been reissued on various compilation albums many times. "The EP Collection" concentrates on tracks from their EP's which are a little more obscure. Some have even escaped reissue up to now, and many are appearing for the first time in stereo. Hopefully there is something to satisfy even the most ardent Shadows' devotee. Many moods and styles are featured. Raw, driving rockers, big ballad type numbers, film themes and those gentle, tranquil gems which the group could play with such sensitivity. Each and every track is given that unique Shadows' treatment, to achieve the tone, taste and quality that make those performances timeless. "The EP Collection" demonstrates every facet of The Shadows' undoubted talent, finesse and fiormidable technique.
