Russ Pettit Review of "The Endless Journe" @ iTunes By: Robert Silverstein ith a background in instrumental rock music and teaching guitar, S.F. Bay Area guitarist, Russ Pettit, makes a strong musical statement with his 2007 CD The Endless Journey. Like the front cover artwork, Pettit makes guitar rock instrumentals that cover lots of ground. A six + minute cover of the Led Zep classic "Kashmir" gives a good indication as to where Pettit is coming from. The Endless Journey is a good choice for fans of Page and Hendrix, while Steve Morse fans will no doubt admire Pettit's inventive guitar sound on the track "Family."
