The Earth Says Hello... is guitarist Doug Stapp's 2007 album and is his second release (first for Progressive Arts), and features 11 instrumental shredded hard rock tracks, including the single "Frankenstein", which features him dueling with former Haji's Kitchen guitarist Scott Stine. The track also appears on the "Guitar Masters Volume #1" compilation CD. The Earth Says Hello... comes with a seperate bonus DVD featuring 3 tracks performed by at a clinic at South Plains College, a 3 part look at the music in the studio, an
interactive catalog, and trailers. Doug adds, "This album was recorded in 38 hours in a period of 4 days and 2000+ miles of driving. Some of the songs are off my first home brewed CD "Static", and the rest off a second album I ditched to make this. The material was recorded with a great band as live and raw as we could do so the energy of the tunes would finally show."
