This CD contains 5 pieces which carried me al the way back to "Blow by Blow", the legendary Jeff-Beck album with Jan Hammer from the previous century. Guitarist Elewout de Raad shows himself of his best side with fast lines, beautiful oceanic notes and everything in between His guitar sound is very diverse and tasteful, in short: guitar luck. By means of exotic spheres with religious symbolism he knows how to cross the bests of 50 years light music into a fresh synthesis. The two other musicians, Hendrik Mulder on drums and Jorrit Godeke on bass, assist the guitarist passionately. They are both technically gifted and sense atmosphere accurately. Outstanding.
