Le Jazz is an ensemble formed by Washinton D.C. area guitar legend Michael Fath which features bassist and co-producer Golder O'Neill, along with supreme pedal steel and dobro player, Casey O'Neal. They've performed their original jazz compositions at Blues Alley and the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, and have currently released their first original jazz/fusion CD, The Chase Is On. Fans familiar with Fath's multi-genre approach on his song "Le Jazz Metallique" from the 1988 album "Flick Of The Wrist" will have an introduction to the creative blend of styles and tones found on this CD. You'll get both clean leads and overdriven, sweep-picked, blazing solos and trade-offs with O'Neal, backed by a horn section and grooving, at times funky, rhythm section.
