The Supertones, a New York City-based instrumental quartet, have re-released their 1991 recording The Big Wet Twang on Golly Gee Records. The EP-length CD features their hits "I Surf In Black" and "Pugsakuk", and of course, the twin-guitar attack of Ted Lawrence and Tim Sullivan. Alan Taylor of Pipeline writes, "Early versions of some of the Ride The Wild Twang tracks rub shoulders with other gems such as the punchy surfer "Pugsakuk", the Sandals influenced "Victory At Sea", and the two surf ballads that close the set: - "El Rollo" and "Got Me A Hankerin'Marvin".
