Delirious Tremor
Swelling Not To Burst (CD)

Fusion/World
Guitarist Tim Jenkins spearheads the fusion project Delirious Tremor, and he, along with drummer/percussionist Dave Huether and a team of guest bassists have released their second CD, Swelling Not To Burst. With music that can sound intense and relaxing at the same time, the musicians forge into progressive jazz, world and electric fusion idioms with the skill and confidence of a seasoned trio. Jenkins can deliver overdriven solos, or clean, angular lines (and even music with a naked acoustic focus) with taste and/or flash, depending on the mood and arrangement. Huether is an innovative drummer, and his interplay with the many creative bass players (including Spyro Gyra bassist Scott Ambush on four tracks) drive this instrumental fusion deep into the listener's cerebrum - heady stuff. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/World), total running time, 59:40
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Tim Jenkins?
