Joe Stump

"Supersonic Shred Machine"

The Story
"Supersonic Shred Machine" is an unabashed orgy of obnoxiously fast neo-classical metal guitar, with enough absurdly difficult, ridiculously precise sweeps, legatos, and alternate picking to make even Yngwie Malmsteen stop dead in his tracks. The tracks on "Supersonic Shred Machine" range from slamming power grooves ("Wrecking Machine") to simple, chordal mood pieces ("Fall From Grace") to relentless, unstoppable white-knuckle affairs ("Where No Men Dare Shred") and each cut features short breakdowns written by Stump in the liner notes.
