This one is about joy; about letting the spirit of child we all have inside rise come out. This is one of the first instrumental tunes I`ve ever written, in 1990.

It`s about peace of mind, and good relationship with the people we care about. My father was a big inspiration for this song. He passed away in December of 2001, so the song has even a stronger meaning to me now.

Times get rough...we live in the age of "dog-eat-dog"...backstabbing is a common thief...but I`m happy that good friends are still around and there for me. This one`s for them.

Sometimes melodies are not enough to tell certain stories, so this one required lyrics. I started writing about the end of a relationship, but there several different scenes going on here. The last verse says it all, for me: "I`ll go again/ spread my thoughts through this big city motion/ I`ll go again/ Run back home and put music in my emotions..."

I swear I wasn`t aware of the standard jazz tune with the same name! :) Seriously! The melody came out of nowhere...I wasn`t even thinking of guitar...I alternate the mood to create a kind of story with ups-and-downs.

Believe me or not, I did this melody sleeping, in a dream. Woke up with that melody still going on my mind, recollected my thoughts and feelings, and put it into music. Just that simple.

This is a celebration song; it`s about the gift of being alive. Let`s celebrate it and thank God for the gift!! :)

Melancholy...the scene here is sitting under a tree, under a cloudy sky above. All kinds of memories go on and on...and it`s always a good sensation to be home.

A trip back to the 30`s or 40`s...at least in my mind. I was probably thinking of the great old movies in B&W...(Gene Kelly, maybe?). I`m nostalgic about these decades, though I wasn`t even born yet!

Melancholy again...this one comes straight from Gary Moore/Rik Emmett influence. Minor keys, minor scales...Sit down and have your drink...:)

The name belongs to a character played by Roberto Benigni in the movie "Voices From The Moon", the last movie Federico Fellini did before his death. This is probably my all-time favorite movie, so, one night, watching the movie again, I just froze the image, picked up the guitar, and...here`s the chords and melodies! Done. Thanks God for the inspiration on this one especially.

Finding out why we`re all here on Planet Earth...Finding a meaning for our lives...then "suddenly"...it all seems to make sense, at least for a while. It has a lot to do with my musical journeys also, striving to find myself musically...and "suddenly", the music is here.
