Kevin Ferguson's latest CD release, Subtle Hint, has nearly 80 minutes of 20 new recordings including fiery electric guitar renditions of classical and exotic world tunes as in his first and second CDs respectively, as well entering new territory with originals in a mix of genres featuring instrumentals of electric and acoustic guitars with the varied accompaniment of electric bass, drums, tablas and other hand percussion, violin, cello, sax and other instruments. Among classical tracks are Bach's "Chaconne", Vivaldi's "Violin Concerto in D", "Introduction" and "Rondo Capriccioso". World music influences include Balkan style tunes include Racenica's (including one mixed with a Fugue) and a Berenche along with a take on the Hidustani Rag "Kedar".
