Hard Rock
Japanese guitarist Koji Tsumoto's debut all instrumental CD, Subconscious, was originally released in 1997. Now, with lead guitars re-recorded in 2005, the reissue version hits the streets in 2006 with blazing lead work and aggressive rock rhythms spiced with fusion flavorings. Featuring Naoya Miyara on drums and Masayuki Seki on bass, the tracks were originally written between 1994 and 1996, then recorded in Boston in 1997. Much has been written in the Japanese press about Tsumoto's playing, but the best way to experience is to pick up his trilogy of rock instrumental CDs, beginning with the one that started it all - Subconscious. Instrumental Guitar (Electric (Heavy)/Hard Rock), total running time, 53:11
