Musically, Rare Blend's Stops Along The Way takes the band "on the road" metaphorically, with the disc chronicling their travels in thirteen compositions. Each piece is rich in personality and instrumentation. Many are structured pieces but the disc also introduces three "live" improvisation tracks ("Intermission", "Grand Central Station", "Dinner At Koko's"), and two vocal tracks ("Miles To Go", "Heading Home") that echo our universal connection. Musicians involved with Stops Along The Way include Vic Samalot (guitar), Bobbi Holt (keyboards, vocals), Jeffrey Scott (bass), Vince Broncaccio (drums), Gabe O'Brien (percussion) and Paul Stranahan (drums). Michael Gallucci at Scene Magazine enthused, "Stops Along The Way is Rare Blend's most efficient recording. The songs naturally jump genres while traveling through an aural landscape that's filled with songs that pretty much fit their titles." Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Progressive), total running time, 59:47 - Rare Blend @ iTunes!
