The music on guitarist Jon Zeeman's Still Life combines jazz, rock, and blues and owes as much to the influence of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck as it does to Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, and Miles Davis. The CD was co-produced and engineered by virtuoso bassist and violinist Phil McArthur, and recorded at his West Palm Beach Mole Hill Studios. Also appearing on Still Life are some of South Florida's finest musicians: Bob Taylor on piano, and Lou Abbott and Keith Cronin on drums. Still Life was recorded almost entirely 'live' in the studio, with very few overdubs or effects. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Blues), total running time, 50:27 - Jon Zeeman @ iTunes!
