"Cruisin`" was written about 5 years before we recorded this cd. I still get a
kick out of listening to the 4 track demo. A lot of people cite the Jeff
Beck - Joe Satriani type sound. It`s funny because this CD was recorded with nothing more than a Hughes and Kettener Cream Machine, and my light blue Hamer...that`s all I could afford!

"Right Out" was a tune that was put together in a hurry. The head never turned
out quite the way I intended, and there`s some guitar insanity at the end.

I still love this tune. Between Jim Wynne, Jim Linsner, and Pat Georger, it
has a kind of scary - melodic funk sound. Pat`s solo still gives me the
goose bumps.

I liked how his one turned out. Wynne`s bass line..flawless.

Here`s another old one. This was a no-holes-barred jam. I felt bad for
Linsner when we played this one live! As usual, Wynne`s bass line was
flawless. Checkout the section right before the bass/drums breaks. The bass and guitar kind of plays chase - he goes up - I go down etc. It`s cool.

Yet another old one. The weird name came about when an old friend of mine Marty Bartnik and I were recording some of my tunes in his basement. It`s kind of a mix between Bartnik and Meckes.

Here`s a tune that cooks. We experimented with the keyboard/guitar solo
sections with the drums. Jim actually had 2 snares set up - one he used for under Pat, and one for under me. You can hear Linsner screaming in the intro. It was funny because we were all trying to get worked up for the
song, and he just counted it off, and let out a scream! We left it in....it
fits.

This is the oldest one of all. Those who know me, know that I have huge
range of influences. With that, I write all kinds of music and a lot of it
is "new age". Although when I wrote this one, I never heard of "new age".
The melody on this song wasn`t written until a few days before I recorded
it. As with "Missing You", the parts were all written, and the melody came
later.
