ver on Oahu in the lovely island state of Hawaii,
guitarist/ singer
Doug Stillwell released his new CD ''Souler Flare''. The album expertly
merges melodic rock instrumentals with an inspired, fusion-based sound
influenced by Santana and blues-rocker Steve Miller on the pop-rock side
with guitar influences coming from modern masters such as Steve Morse and
Eric Johnson. Released in 2003,
the 16 track 'souler flare' establishes Stillwell as a fine
singer-songwriter. The memorable quality of his originals mixes
well with his impressive fretboard mastery on both acoustic and electric
guitars.
