"Somewhere In South America"
|
Steve Hackett describes "Somewhere In South America", which was captured live at Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, "Where do I begin to describe this tour? The brilliance of the keyboard playing... the absences of any food other than the cheese and ham sandwiches...The police who hijacked our equipment and demanded a ransom to return it? We hovered between total exhaustion and complete rapture onstage, 19 flights and 8 countries later this outstanding show from Buenos Aires proves we managed to tour South America and return in one piece-no one joined any insane religious cults or was abducted by aliens... on this occasion at least!" Band members for the concert included Hackett (guitar/vocals), Roger King (keyboards), Gary O'Toole (drums), Terry Gregory (bass) and Rob Townsend (sax/flute).
Special DVD features include: Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, Somewhere In Italy-Backstage Footage, Interviews From the 2000 Italian Tour.
