Review of "Snap, Crackle & Pop...Live!"
|
By: John Nicholas
he 1998 recording "Snap, Crackle & Pop" is a double live CD combining the efforts of Neil Zaza, drummer Bobby Rock amd bassist Bill "The Buddha" Dickens. Bobby Rock played for Vinnie Vincent and Slaughter. This is a very live set with much extended jamming and soloing. Three songs from Neil's CD "Sing" and two songs from Bobby's "Out of Body" CD are here along with a couple of covers but more minutes are in improvisational jam sessions and over the top solos. I believe this CD will appeal to you based on your interest in live jamming. After all, not every one has the patience for 18 minute(!) drum solos or 20 minutes of bass and guitar trade offs! With a bonus track interview with and Bobby and Neil this will definitely be one to get for their fans and people who saw the tour.
