Fusion/Jazz
CountItOff is the musical creation of guitarist Charles Carey and bassist Robert Rimmington. Both are in demand musicians for hire and both work as music professors at local colleges. The music, as heard on their debut CD, Room 237, of CountItOff provides a platform for these musicians to showcase their respective talents and musical directions and is both challenging and fun to play at the same time. A typical concert from CountItOff shows the influence of Tribal Tech, The Dixie Dregs, Mike Stern, and Allan Holdsworth. While their original material is often very complex they often show their lighter side by arranging rock standards in styles they were never meant to have been played in, such as "Crazy Train" as an up-tempo salsa, "Walk This Way" as a funk, or "Wind Cries Mary" as a swing tune. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Jazz), total running time, 0:00
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Charles Carey?
