"Live: Rockin' In The Free World"

In a sold-out tour running nationwide October through November 2003, the trio of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteeen put on their G3 show: three guitarists putting on a mega show to a crowd of awestruck guitar fans. Having achived tremendous success and critical praise in their own careers, this tour marked the first time the three influential guitarists have joined forces on the same stage. "Live: Rockin' In The Free World", a two-CD set, was recorded at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City on October 21, 2003, and contains nearly two hours of heavy instrumental guitar work from the show. Closing the show are three mega jams where all three guitarists lay out their most frightening improvisations.
