"Rock Essentials" is an excellent DVD-R hosted by Danny Gill, a former student of Joe Satriani, and oo-author of Musicians Institute's Rock Lead Guitar series. As a writer, his songs have appeared on numerous TV shows inluding 'The Osbournes' as well as motion picture soundtracks such as 'Insomnia' and 'Under Siege'.
Lessons include; major and minor pentatonic licks and patterns, chord progressions, string bending ideas, blues bends, diatonic major and minor scales and much more, plus six rock jam tracks on CD to practice or improvise with.
