Review of "Ritual Factory"
|
By: Wayne Klinger
CM or Masi, Coven and Macaluso-- a trio that shouldn't really need any sort of introduction as far as their weapons of choice and the veteran status they all possess.
"Ritual Factory" is an 11-track Prog/Fusion fest with a lot of different genres thrown in like Oriental and Exotic stuff (Indian/Arabian), hints of Metal and Rock as well with some fabulous songwriting. These guys have jammed before and I guess they never realized who was watching and listening but there was a demand for them to make something. MCM also does an interesting cover of an old 70's band, Weather Report with "Black Market". This is one of those projects that have a serious mindset as far as the guys clicking on all cylinders. Fans of Ohm, RPWL, Cosmosquad and The Flyin' Ryan Brothers will really enjoy this project band.
