Rippin' is Bill DeTucci's debut CD and is sure to please avid fans of the guitar! DeTucci is a self-taught guitarist who also plays bass and keys on this self-project. While DeTucci recorded, mixed and mastered all his music on a Zoom MRS-802CD digital recorder, he does surprise and please - even though some grooves have a repetitive drum beat - sadly the lack of a live drummer. Nonetheless, Rippin' is an awesome guitar CD that is filled with emotion and guitar madness! Everything from the sensuous melodies and breezy tones of "Pebbles Beach" to the rip roaring rock feel of "Hot Summer Nights".
