More Info
The much-anticipated release of Sam Yelda's My Revelation is finally here. Yelda's original compositions are influenced by classical masters such as J.S.Bach and Tarrega. His melding of improvisational skills, classic harmony and complex orchestration counterpoints make this recording a unique listening experience. Yelda's mastery of picking is evident as he effortlessly shifts clean classical lines to full out Neo-Classical shredding.
My Revelation displays his varied musical sensibilities ranging from romantic atmosphere to new world. The haunting melody of "Gypsy Sketches", for example, takes listeners on a musical ride to days long past punctuated by his precise guitar mastery. All of Yelda's life experience musical and otherwise are captured in this debut CD. Fans should take note that he also played all the stringed instruments on the CD such as mandolin and bass, as well as the Roland GR1 and GR20 guitar synthesizer.
Instrumental Guitar, total running time, 35:32

'Electric Storm'
Review Featured In Strutter Magazine
By: Gabor Fabian
uitarist SEAN MERCER comes out of the US State Washington and his CD
`Electric Storm` is a high-class instrumental AOR/Melodic Rock/Prog
album
that comes dangerously close to YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. 12 songs are included,
and the musicianship is of a very high level. Highlights are "Elation",
"The Festival", "Electric Storm", "Holding Back", "Mushrooms Of Fire"
(hello MALMSTEEN!) and "Opus 2". Without any doubts, if you`re into
quality
instrumental rock music, this CD brings you as much pleasure as
listening
to a MALMSTEEN record.
