Psycogenic Fugue is the debut CD of scalding instrumental numbers (and a few vocal covers) from Buffalo-based Anthracite, a three-piece funk/blues outfit featuring Reggie Evans on drums, Rodney Appleby on bass and vocals along with Tony Scozzaro on guitar. Scozzaro's playing is red-hot throughout Psycogenic Fugue, from the dynamic guitar riffs in "Freedom" to the funked-up cover of the Beatles, "Come Together".
