letter s always, Ukraine-born Vitalij Kuprij is constantly busy making new music or having 15 projects going on at once! Lately you may have heard him with the band Ring Of Fire with Mark Boals and bassist Philip Byner (which is on this release also and played for Steve Vai as well). The other mentionable on this CD is drummer Jon Doman. Vitalij is also known for his work with an older band called Artension for those old metallers like me that buy stuff from Shrapnel and guitarists Vitalij has been released with to the tune of MacAlpine, Greg Howe and George Bellas to name a few.

"Promised Land" is 8 tracks of a mixture of Neo-Classical, Prog-Metal and Hard Rock instrumental songs. It's like converging Yngwie, Vitalij's keyboard and piano wizardry with some retro stuff like B3, Pink Floyd and Genesis with room for some guitar shred...sound amazing? This is! Anything you own by Vitalij that is purely instrumental will make you get this release; top-notch musicmanship and considered to be one of the best keyboard players on the planet alongside Jordan Rudess.
