Progressive features the improvisational progressive fusion music of Finnish guitarist Jartse Tuominen supported by drummer Matti Takala and bassist Kilroy Koskimies. The Takala Project was established originally in 1988, and Progressive was recorded in 1991, the U.S. edition of which was recently released. How to describe their music? Let's assume that Billy Cobham, Steve Gadd, Al Di Meola, Steve Vai, Steve Morse, Billy Sheehan and Jaco Pastorius were in the audience at a Takala Project gig.
