Offering fiery technical brilliance, Box can stand toe-to-toe with the finest melodic rock players in the world. More sensitively composed electric tracks such as "Blue Skies Above" display the depth of his playing abilities. When the situation demands it (such as on high energy tracks such as "130R" and the title track, Box trots out his contemporary arsenal of techniques - which feature an extensive vocabulary of expressive devices. Recorded in a trio format with Neil Lough on bass, Michael Robson on drums and Box double-tracking his rhythms and leads, the straight ahead presentation is maximized for hard rock listening enjoyment.
