Play Time's Over
|
"Play Time's Over" is guitarist Chris Steberl's debut instrumental EP/CD. The five song album showcases Steberl's songwriting while also allowing for plenty of fretboard pyrotechnics. "Tongue In Groove" unleashes a phaser-heavy rhythm track, then turns up the heat with dozens of furious legato licks. "Method Of Doing" takes a progressive approach, blending in blazing overdriven arpeggios and a fuzzed-out moody solo excursion. "Play Time's Over" is hopefully Steberl's first of many offerings in the instrumental rock area.
