his CD harkens back to the golden age of instrumental guitar . Highly reminiscent of the early works by Vinnie Moore, MacAlpine and Tafolla, This disc displays Mathias's melodic and emotional playing.
A diverse collection featuring many slow, beautiful melodic pieces and tasteful amounts of speed playing. My personal favorites are "Voyage, The Tables of Testimony" and the DiMeola influenced "Acoustic Mind". A valiant effort by this shredder.
