Review of "Perpetual Horizon"
|
By: Gabor Kleinbloesem
ut of Rockaway, New Jersey comes multi-instrumentalist Neil Rambaldi. He
played with acts like RIVERA/BOMMA and AOR artist JOHN TAGLIERI. Now Neil
has released his debut CD entitled 'Perpetual Horizon'. This album is a high
quality instrumental progressive rock/metal release, filled with superb
instrumental work by Neil himself (on keys, guitars, drums and bass!).
Highlights are "Edge", "It's Time", "Speechless" and "Perpetual horizon",
but I can assure you the whole CD is a great addition if you're into quality
instrumental melodic progressive rock/metal. Comparisons to VAI, SATRIANI,
MALMSTEEN, and BECKER can be made at times, but Neil gives it an own twist
and the fact that he does everything himself shows that we need to keep our
eyes wide open for this talented man.
