Albums Worth A Listen
|
|
Guitarist Jim Horne's CD "Panic Attack" is the full-length companion to his EP/CD "Zero Tolerance", and is a mix of progressive rock, fusion, and shred. The album features a guest solo by Italian axeman Francesco Fareri on "Speed Trip", but other than that, it's all Horne, as he provides the bass and drum programming. Each track sets up a groove and the groundwork is laid for the wall-to-wall improvisation that follows. His fusion lines cover the most harmonic ground, and the shred and overall sound is kept ultra-heavy. "Panic Attack" will satisfy the improv-freaks out there - a morning eye-opener in addition to your cup o' joe.
