"Pacific Serenade"

German-born guitarist Chris Korblein has released "Pacific Serenade", a new age-styled CD enhanced by Korblein's warm, soulful guitar work, reminiscent of David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler and the ballads of Gary Moore. Korblein places a heavy emphasis on romantic melody on each of the nine instrumental tracks, squeezing every ounce of emotion and expressiveness from his electric guitar. "Pacific Serenade" includes the mesmerizing, "November", which features a transparent arrangement over a modern groove, and the jazzy "Downtown Dance". A wonderful piece of music.
