Oz Live feaures heavy instrumental funk fusion with Oz and his rotating trio, featuring Reggie Washington (bass), James Genus (bass), Keith Carlock (drums) and Anton Fig (drums). The CD was recorded live at the Bitter End in N.Y.C. during four nights in May and June 2002.
