|
Multitalented singer/guitarist C. J. Hutchins has released "Out Of These Hands", an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric guitar-based tunes, produced by Ronnie Montrose. With music ranging from electric rock/blues ("Rock Me To Sleep" and the title track) to blues ("Cross-Leg") to roots ("Here We Are"), Hutchins offers something for every fan of great songwriting. Montrose also plays guitar and/or bass on a number of tracks, taking a searing solo spot on the title cut. The last track, "Circus Song" is a dream-like ode to Barnum and Bailey entertainment, with a Twilight Zone-like instrumental fade out that will have you running from the clowns.
