Review of "One Zillion Guitars"

letter ailing from Washington State is this new guitarist for this section which was brought forth from Guitar 9 exposure (thanks guys!) with some reviews I had posted. This guy is another one of those I can classify as "where was I when this was released"! This 14-track deluge didn't spark any immediate ideas since the compositions are a bit different than most but can this guy play! Daniel likes to bounce around with 70's influences to Blues, Rock and Metal. A better idea would be putting some different "apples" in the basket (a pun intended!) with players like Kollman, Vinnie Moore, Petrucci and Brad Gillis. Still, he keeps to his own and song examples like "The Dream Of A Closed Heart" exemplify my point to the fullest. It's just one of them CD's that are good from track 1 to the final note...respected,flawless and definately fluid. If you like tight songs with melody balanced with progression with alot of jamming, Daniel is a fine player to tickle your ears with.
