Seattle fretmeister Daniel Christopherson's One Zillion Guitars is a great concept for an instrumental CD. The album (subtitled "Acoustic And Electric Adventures") features a total of fourteen tracks, the first nine of which are high-octane, fretboard-burning hard rock numbers which display Christopherson melodic ideas and compositional strengths. The last five tracks are introspective and/or hypnotic acoustic numbers, which leave no doubt that this guitarist is no one-trick pony. In addition, the CD features multimedia content, including a new over-the-top guitar solo ("Fingerbleed"), an interview, and four playalong tracks for the guitar players out there (sans lead guitar). The bonus items are in the MP3 format and can be accessed with a computer. One Zillion Guitars is a standout for the audio portions alone -- highlights such as "Door Of Fire", "Midnight Flyer" and "Cloud 10" will entertain the rock guitar fan for many years to come. Instrumental Guitar (Electric (Heavy)/Hard Rock), total running time, 55:39 - Daniel Christopherson @ iTunes!
