Maryland area guitarist Ben Sherman's second jazz/fusion project is entitled One Mind, and is a creative collaboration with Angel Resto on bass and Frank Young on drums. This group was originally formed to support Sherman's debut CD, "First Light", but has emerged as a powerful writing and performing team. The result is a CD of focused, intense and uplifting instrumentals, featuring stellar musicianship and a great deal of improvisation and interplay. Fans of high energy fusion will immediately pick up on tracks such as "Fake Hanky" and "Zipper", while solo guitar songs such as "Lovely Day (Anne Marie's Garden)" display Sherman's ability to communicate mood and emotion.
