The band brings to mind the Mahavishnu Orchestra and King Crimson ("Diamond Eye"), among others, but has a broad musical palette ("Backbone of the Night", for example, is an interesting Middle-Eastern inspired piece and they even swing a bit on "Diamond Eye") that serves them well.
