Night Of The Living Dregs was released in 1979 and consisted of four new studio tracks (the first four songs on the album) and four songs recorded live at Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival in July of 1978. The last of the Ken Scott-produced Capricorn recordings, guitarist Steve Morse was to shortly take over the production duties on subsequent albums, thus fully realizing the power and uniqueness of his compositions. Standout tracks on Night Of The Living Dregs include "The Bash" and "Punk Sandwich" -- both highly recommended for guitarists who haven't heard anything to make their jaws drop lately.
