This edition's guest columnists are featuring technique articles, advice on selecting guitar teachers, scale ideas, and other music business pointers directly to your web browser. We've got seven fresh columns altogether - all written by by returning columnists.

Tom Hess returns with a double shot of columnar expresso with "How To Get Big Results From Taking Guitar Lessons" followed by the B-side of "How To Practice For Maximum Guitar Speed". Independent music consultant Chris Knab clears the decks with "I Get E-Mails - Boy, Do I Get E-Mails". Mike Campese serves up a new songwriting column entitled "Composing Without Your Guitar, Part 1". Guitarist Jean-Pierre Zammit returns with his article "Finding A Guitar Teacher". Guitarist Tommaso Zillio returns as well, penning "How To Compose Original Phrases On The Pentatonic Scale".
