New Columns

October's guest columnists bring fresh perspectives, creative thinking, and experience to the table, and cover topics on the music business, technique, and songwriting. We've got nine fresh articles altogether - six returning columnists and three first time contributors. Canadian guitarist David Martone is back with another in his series entitled "Zone Recording: NGW Summer Tour". Nick Andrew pens his first article, helping guitarists out there with his column "Cliche Busting Moves, Part 1". Neo-classical guitarist Tom Hess contributes his column entitled "Songwriting, Part 4". Scott Allen gets right back into guitar technique with his article "Touring the Arps". Guitarist Kole will blow your mind with, "The Theory Of Appreciative Comparison". Paul Tauterouff is back after a hiatus with "Pentamodal Idea". "7 Steps For Screwing Up A Band" is the humorous title of first timer Sander Owen's article. First time contributor Todd Caron has written a new column entitled "Advanced Two Hand Technique".
