New Columns

October's guest columnists are a talented group of experts, who cover studio recording, technique, and the music business. We've got eleven new articles altogether - ten returning columnists and a single first timer. First off is Mike Campese, G.I.T. graduate and instructor, with "Superimposing Major Arpeggios". Canadian guitarist David Martone is back with another interesting article entitled "Zone Recording: Clinics With Jennifer Batten". Neo-classical guitarist Tom Hess contributes his essential piece called "Top Secrets Of Common Sense, Part 2". Randy Ellefson returns from a hiatus to pen "Got Tendonitis? What To Do". Indie marketing and promotions expert Tim Sweeney has contributed an article entitled "Treating Your Art As A Day Job". Band coach Sean Farrington returns with "5 Paths To $100,000 Per Year - Part 4: Randy's Way". British guitarist Guy Pople is back with "Stuck In A Rut". Guitarist Jamie Andreas has added a new article called "Finding Notes On The Neck: The 5 Fret Rule". Guitarist Patrick DeCoste has written another interesting column entitled "The Effect Affect - Using Processors To Alter Your Music". Our only first time contributor is German guitarist Robert Walker with "Songwriter Or Craftsman?". Finally, music industry guru Christopher Knab returns with "A&R Cover Letter Example".
