Blistering hard rock from Germany you'll find in the form of Horst Luksch & Band's CD Movimiento, a nearly all-instrumental album ("Heya Heya" is a vocal track, of sorts) replete with undeniable intensity, aggressive rock leads, sturdy melodies bound together in a piping hot Teutonic mix. Luksch has been a professional guitarist for almost 30 years, and pours out the experience and attitude into every note and phrase. "Race Against Time" is a example, featuring a relentless stomping rhythm embellished with all manner of high-tech, yet melodic lead work. In "Be Cool", the riffs take a bluesy, soulful turn before morphing into the more esoteric. Each track in turn rents an altogether different sonic space, as Luksch uses tone to great effect.
