Fusion/Progressive
On Addison Project's Mood Swings, Canadian bassist Richard Addison demonstrates his strong approach to composition, and creates the kind of moods that will not leave and prog and prog/fusion fans indifferent at all. A superb bass player, Addison has written several articles about bass technique and his compositional approach for Guitar Player Magazine (January 1986) and Canadian Musician (1990). Addison has also played on the prog band Mystery's first and second album, he is founder of the jazz-rock band Sojourn, and has composed music for television. On Mood Swings, he is joined by no less than three guitarists: Michel St-Pere, David Gauthier and Eric St-Laurent, as well as a host of other supporting musicians. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Progressive), total running time, 46:54 - Addison Project @ iTunes!
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as David Gauthier?
