This tune is a more aggressive aproach to fusion. Kinda like Vai meets Henderson with a Holdsworthian solo section. This one will definetly get the listener grooving, and it`s a tribute to my cat "Spanky"

Well, this song reminded me of those "pizza pizza" ads. It has a meshing of every thing from funk to blues and a big influence by Jeff Beck. Lots of odd time too.

The title song. Burning boogie. This tune utilizes modal blues and atonality. Recording it was a nightmare. The drummer took 12 hours to get it. The bass player took a while also. Me... well it was a learning experience.

Sing-songy balled. I play this tune out all the time and people love it. Very melodic. It`s title is based on how the beaches I surfed in California will always be in my heart. Long live Huntington!

My Swiss friend (one of the worlds most insane players) Nick liked this tune. He has good taste. This tune is adult contemporary fusion. Some of the best legato playing I`ve ever done! It also swings in a funky kinda way.

This is the only vocal tune on the CD. It has a Charlie Parker meets Albert Collins sound to it. I used a lot of neck bending in this one. I am very proud of this tune. The drummer used taped brushes on it.

This tune is dry and HEAVY. I used a drum machine on it because of the heavy kick drum sound. It`s a little "Vai-ish". This is the first tune I used a Mesa preamp on. I usually use Seymour Duncan amps, but the Mesa won this tone!

This is essentially an intro to "Smokin`". It shows the Gilmoure influence. I still think he is the greatest! This tune is very romantic sounding. Aesthetically, it is some of my best work.

Funky swinging blues! This is a fun song to listen to. I allowed some of my Gatton influence out on this tune. If you like spankin` blues, you`ll like it!

As a bodyboarder on the east coast I await every hurricane season with anticipation of killer swell! This song is a musical representation of a hurricane. Fury, an eye, more fury. It`s also a bit heavy.
