Marcos De Ros
"Masterpieces"
|
Previously only available in Brazil, "Masterpieces", by Marcos De Ros, features the guitarist playing classical compositions with an array of overdriven electric and acoustic guitars, assisted by a company of eleven talented musicians. You can hear De Ros blazing through Mozart's "Marcha Turca" or steaming through Brahms "Danca Hungara #5", as well as finding him taking on Bach ("Mother Nature", "Prelude #2 In Cm"), Bizet ("Prelude From Carmen/Aragonaise") and Paganini ("Caprice #17"). A show stopper is, of course, Rimsky-Korsakoff's "Flight Of The Bumblebee". Check out De Ros' "Masterpieces" for a shredding performance of classical material.
