Brand X

"Manifest Destiny"

The Story
Guitarist John Goodall and bassist Percy Jones are back with an updated version of the Brand X sound with "Manifest Destiny", produced by David Hentschel. Their killer brand of fusion never sounded better, with the opening tracks, "True To The Clik", "Virus" and "Setllerator" among the best the band has produced. Assisted by drummer Frank Katz, keyboardist Marc Wagnon and percussionist Ronnie Ciago, Goodsall uses a large variety of guitars and MIDIed guitars to create progressive jazz fusion in a modern, percussive setting. Two additional tracks (unnamed) are also included, adding over 10 minutes of bonus material to the album. "Manifest Destiny" is a marvelous 'comeback' CD that more than stacks up with previous Brand X releases.
