letter didn't get to hear the first one of this series but the idea of making instrumental originals that pay homage to bands you like or are influenced by is pretty interesting in itself. All of Steve's favorite artists are collaborated on this cd that run from stuff like The Yardbirds, The Who, Aerosmith, ZZ Top to Genesis, Deep Purple, Ted Nugent, Skynyrd and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. (ELP is in here too). Morse is just a straight-forward guitarist and highly influential to alot of the players on the market; this guy can play anything from any genre and this CD proves that from the first track to the very last. Steve also dabbles into Bluegrass, Celtic and Cajun stuff from his years of growing up with his dad and incorporates some of that in these compositions.

Joining Steve on this album are his bandmates Dave LaRue and Van Romaine. There's not a bad thing about this CD and surely shows you why alot of guitar players respect him and are highly influenced by his style. Definately one of the top five guitarists always mentioned in bio sheets as far as an inspiration if you take notice.
