Long Night's Moon is guitarist Brian Rollands solo guitar CD in limited release as of January 2001. This immediate, sometimes improvisational music incorporates folk, jazz, classical and Latin idioms and influences, centered around their own unique brand of "fusion". It is a rare opportunity when one discovers something in sound and immediately knows to listen carefully. There is that magic here in Long Night's Moon. His music is rooted in a lifetime of study and subsequent mastery of the classical instrument. Rolland proves once again to take music into places where few can go: as WGBH Radio host Ron Della Chlesa once wrote, "Brian Rolland is a musical revelation, one of the most eclectic guitarists I've heard." Instrumental Guitar (Acoustic/Fingerstyle), total running time, 66:26 - Brian Rolland @ iTunes!
